Learn Sailing and Boating Skills on Long Island's South Shore Sail LI is an ASA Certified Training Facility
MEMBER TRAINING - When you join as a SailTime Member, SailTime will provide you with all the necessary training so you can safely and confidently use your SailTime boat. The costs for American Sailing Association Basic Keel Boat and Coastal Cruising for Members are included in the SailTime Joining Fee. All members are required to pass their certification or have the US sailing equivalents in order to solo sail the boats.
PUBLIC SAILING COURSES - Do you want to learn how to sail without joining our SailTime program? No problem, we offer ASA courses though out the year. Plus, if you take a sailing course with us and then decide to join the SailTime program within 12 months of your course, the costs of your sailing course will be deducted from your SailTime Joining Fees. ASA CHALLENGE - "Feeling lucky punk?" Experienced and qualified sailors may challenge any of the ASA standards. To successfully complete a Challenge the student must demonstrate the appropriate skills and pass the corresponding written exam. No instruction is provided as part of a Challenge - the student must already possess the necessary skills and knowledge. There is a materials and boat fee of $175 charged per standard.
