American Sailing Association ASA 103 Basic Coastal Crusing Course

Basic Coastal Cruising Course Overview

With Basic Sailing skills (BK101) as a prerequisite, students will sail aboard a 31-33 foot Hunter sailboat with up to three other students aboard. This is a two-day course. 90% of course time is spent aboard the boat and underway. Material covered is outlined in detail in Gary Jobson's book "Sailing Fundamentals".

ASA 103 - Cost $625.00 per person. Course fee includes all books, course materials, ASA Logbook, tests, test fees and boat rental. Overnight stays on board are available for $150 per night and are scheduled first come first served.
