Basic Keelboat Course Overview

No previous sailing or boating experience necessary. This is a three-day course. The first day includes approximately four hours in the classroom. Second and third days will be spent on the water from approx. 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on a 20-23 foot Hunter sailboat with up to three other students aboard. Material covered is outlined in detail in Gary Jobson's book "Sailing Fundamentals".

ASA 101 - Cost $595.00 per person. Course fee includes all books, course materials, ASA Logbook, tests, test fees and boat rental and also includes one-year paid membership to the American Sailing Association.
