Bareboat Chartering Course Overview

Basic Keelboat Sailing (101) and Basic Coastal Cruising (103) certifications are prerequisite for this course. Bareboat Chartering is an advanced cruising Standard for individuals with cruising experience. The individual can act as skipper or crew of a 30 - 50 foot boat sailing by day in coastal waters. The Standard includes knowledge of boat systems and maintenance procedures.

ASA 104- Bareboat Chartering is a three day course offered onboard our 2007 31' Hunter in Eat Patchogue or our 2005 33' Hunter in Northport for $950 per person or onboard our 2006 38' Hunter in City Island for $1200 per person and includes two overnight stays onboard. Course fee includes all books, course materials, ASA Logbook, tests, test fees and boat rental.
